Me chamo Ana Beatriz, sou médica formada pela Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), concluí em 2014. Atualmente sou Chefe do Serviço de Cirurgia Plástica do Hospital Mario Kreff e lá realizamos toda semana, atendimentos e cirurgias pelo SUS, convênio e particular para Cirurgia.
Muitas pessoas me perguntam, por que eu escolhi a Cirurgia Plástica. Posso dizer que antes mesmo de querer ser médica, eu já dizia que queria ser Cirurgiã Plástica. A pouco tempo estava conversando com um amigo de infância e umas das lembranças foi “Caramba, eu lembro que você dizia que queria ser cirurgiã plástica quando éramos crianças”. Então, posso dizer que antes de tudo, realizei um sonho de infância. Então lá vai mais uma história, quando eu era criança, em torno de 8-9 anos, minha mãe realizou uma cirurgia de face e nariz, eu lembro de buscá-la no hospital com meu pai, ela toda enfaixada, roxa e queixando-se de dor. Passados alguns meses da cirurgia, ela já estava maravilhosa, feliz, mais disposta. Eu percebi algumas mudanças sutis no seu comportamento, e talvez na minha inocência de criança, eu associei aquilo à cirurgia plástica que ela fez. E aquilo foi muito marcante, como tinha sido transformador na vida da minha mãe.
