Tem mais de 7000 cirurgias efectuadas e cerca de 5000 ajudas a intervenções cirúrgicas, destacando-se a cirurgia estética e oncológica cutânea e das glândulas salivares patologia predominante na sua actividade quando era assistente hospitalar, época em que integrou a equipa dedicada a este tipo de patologia no SCPRE do Hospital de Santa Maria. Tem escrito e apresentado inúmeros trabalhos em revistas nacionais e internacionais, assim como em congressos. Fez parte do corpo clínico do programa televisivo “Dr. Preciso de Ajuda”, tendo sido responsável por algumas transformações cirúrgicas apresentadas no programa. Actualmente dedica-se à cirurgia e medicina estética e ao tratamento cirúrgico de tumores cutâneos.
