Prof. Dr. med. Laszlo Kovacs ist Facharzt für Chirurgie und für Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie. Nach seiner Ausbildung zum chirurgischen Facharzt erfolgte die Spezialisierung zum Plastischen Chirurgen am Klinikum Köln-Merheim. Seit 1998 ist er am Klinikum rechts der Isar der TU München zuerst als Facharzt, dann als leitender Oberarzt und nach seiner Habilitation als stellvertretender Direktor der Abteilung für Plastische, Rekonstruktive und Handchirurgie dort tätig. Dank seiner jahrzehntelangen Erfahrung ist es ihm möglich das gesamte operative Spektrum der plastischen Chirurgie abzudecken. Er genießt auf Grund seiner klinischen Tätigkeit und durch seine Forschungsarbeit, mit zahlreichen Publikationen, in Fachkreisen und bei seinen Patienten höchstes Ansehen. Großen Wert legt er auf die Beratung der Patienten und das Umsetzen deren Wünsche in ein erfolgreiches Behandlungskonzept. Die Forschungsarbeit des Mediziners wurde mit vielen Preisen und Auszeichnungen geehrt.
