Dr. Novak earned his medical degree from the University of Texas McGovern Medical School located in the world’s largest medical center in Houston, Texas. After completing a breast reconstruction research appointment at the prestigious MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Novak completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas with broad exposure to all aspects of plastic surgery including general reconstruction, hand, breast, craniofacial, microsurgical, and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Novak went on to complete an elective, one-year fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the highly sought-after Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. This additional year of training was spent focusing on all aspects of surgical and non-surgical aesthetics of the face, nose, breast, and body.
