What’s new in e-Stetix?

Enhanced skin texture in 3D reconstruction

The new release includes an improved texturization of the lateral regions of the patient’s body in the 3D reconstruction. The advanced 3D modeling calculations provide for a smoother and realistic texture of the patient’s skin based on the 3 uploaded photos.

Shader for accurate volume effect

To help patients understand better the impact and effect of the implant volume, use the new Shader to modify shadows on the body. This provides your patients with an accurate and realistic representation of selected implant volumes. The Shader functions with a simple and easy-to-use slide bar at the bottom left of your e-Stetix account in the simulation sections.

Skin texture Editor with smoothing and color selection

As some implant surgeries may require modifications to the areola, use the all new Skin Texture Editor to show your patient the specific impact on this part of the breast. This new tool can also be used to remove imperfections on the patient’s skin such as birth marks, stretch marks or wrinkles that would be removed or altered during surgery.

Automatic and editable pre-op volumes

For quick and easy pre-surgery analysis, e-Stetix generates automatic pre-op volumes for a pre-defined region of your patient’s breasts. e-Stetix takes into account the patient’s skin pinch as well as muscle thickness to calculate the precise volume of the breasts. You can also intuitively modify the selection at will, for e-Stetix to instantaneously provide you with the pre-op volume of the specified region.

e-Stetix allowed me to increase my conversion rate for breast augmentations from 57.5% to 92.4% between May 2010 and September 2011.
